Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in South Boston, VA to lead a dynamic manufacturing team. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production, align with demand plans, and drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field and 2–5 years of supervision in manufacturing. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred), plus Kronos timekeeping experience, are valued.

2–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Experience with timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos).
Knowledge of workforce management and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

Organize and allocate resources to meet production targets efficiently.
Oversee production scheduling to align with demand plans and inventory levels.
Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and facilities.
Ensure timely execution of production processes and on-time delivery.
Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing performance improvements.
Resolve critical product or equipment issues in collaboration with internal teams.
Guide, motivate, and develop team members to achieve goals.
