Job summary

Altrad Sparrows is seeking an Industrial Millwright to install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial machinery across buildings, plants and manufacturing facilities. You will ensure all machines operate efficiently through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, using CMMS for safety and compliance.

The role requires a minimum of three years' experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems, OSHA knowledge, and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.
• OSHA knowledge and compliance.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
• Valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery across buildings, plants and facilities.
• Inspect parts using rules, calipers, and micrometers to determine dimensional changes.
• Adjust components using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and straightedges.
• Ensure safe operation with CMMS and compliance with safety standards.
• Read diagrams and service manuals to establish work procedures.
• Troubleshoot engines, conveyors, electrical systems, and hydraulic equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
• Identify and request necessary replacement parts for repairs.
• Collaborate with facility manager to update production processes and software.
• Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
