XR in New York is seeking an On-Set Manager to oversee SAG-AFTRA Letter of Adherence compliance and on-set logistics for CMC Forecast.

You will coordinate with production, client personnel, and union reps, manage contracts, documents, talent photos, and time reporting, and ensure safe, compliant working environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of on-set production experience.
• Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA Commercial CBA.
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends;Travel as necessary.
• Tact in handling difficult situations.
• Alert, smart and proactive; tech savvy to operate a laptop, portable scanner and printer.

Responsabilités

• Establish contact with production and client personnel prior to talent call time.
• Establish relationship with the 2nd Assistant Director.
• Collect I9s, W2s, W4s, and minor trust documents as applicable.
• Review contracts to ensure no cross outs and client initials near signature.
• Provide copies of contract documents to Talent.
• Confirm performer photo in costume is attached to contracts.
• Meet with Union reps as necessary.
• Ensure dressing rooms are clean, with proper temperature and separation.
• Verify proper working restroom facilities.
• Confirm Craft Services has beverage variety.
• Monitor minor-work areas: nurse check-in, teaching and waiting areas.
• Check in with client for prior day work to include in time report.
• Assist with talent work hours, breaks and overtime.
• Review monitors for potential extras upgrades and prepare talent estimates.
• Ensure required documents reach Business Affairs/CMC Manager within 3 days of shoot.
• Collect contracts, W4s, I9s; Production Time Reports; talent photos; releases & waivers; work permits for minors.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Signatory Solutions, the On-Set Manager is responsible for managing the on-set responsibilities of CMC Forecast per the SAG-AFTRA Letter of Adherence.

Responsibilities:

• Establish contact with appropriate production and client personnel prior to talent call time


• Establish relationship with the 2nd Assistant Director


• Collect I9’s, W2’s, W4’s, and minor trust documents as applicable


• Collect and review with client completed Talent Contracts


• Review contracts to ensure there are no cross outs, and client has initialed contract next to our signature


• Provide copies of contract documents to Talent


• Confirm photo of performer in costume is attached to contracts


• Meet with Union reps as necessary


• Confirm performer dressing rooms are suitable (cleanliness, temperature, separate areas)


• Confirm proper working restroom facilities


• Confirm Craft Services has variety of beverage options


• Working with minors ensure the following;

  • Identify teaching areas and ensure they are suitable
  
  
  • Identify waiting areas and ensure they are suitable
  
  
  
  


• Check in with client/production company for prior day work to be included in time report


• Assist with monitoring talent work hours for breaks and overtime


• Review monitors for potential extras upgrades


• Prepare talent estimates for upgrades upon request


• Ensure client sends the following to the Business Affairs/CMC Manager within 3 days of shoot:

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Pursuant to New York's Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position is $35-40/hr; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
