Qualifications

• Capability to use technology and skills to tutor in an online environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages students in activities and strategies that increase understanding of classroom or curricula topic and assignments
• Teaches study skills and approaches to test-taking
• Holds a solid academic knowledge in the subject areasthey wish to tutor
• Provides students positive and constructive feedback
• May be asked to assist the student with tasks expected of the student in some specific classes including reading, scribing, and in-class assistance
• Attends orientation and trainings
