Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a School Transformation Specialist to partner with district leaders in Florida, driving measurable improvement in student achievement and organizational effectiveness. This online and in-person role requires turning strategic goals into practical plans and accountable action steps.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in school turnaround, uses data to guide decisions, and can lead cross-functional teams to align people, time, and resources with high-priority goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, School Improvement, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of successful school or district-level leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting school turnaround, school transformation, comprehensive school improvement, or significant organizational change.
• Strong understanding of Florida public school systems and building-level management.
• Demonstrated experience using student and school performance data to drive instructional and organizational decisions.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring school improvement plans.
• Experience with program evaluation and continuous improvement processes.
• Strong understanding of effective instructional practices and instructional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Principals and leadership teams to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate improvement priorities.
• Translate strategic goals into defined action steps, outcomes, timelines, and accountability structures.
• Monitor implementation and identify barriers to successful execution.
• Establish systems for progress monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Provide Principals with actionable feedback and recommendations.
• Develop data narratives communicating progress, challenges, trends, and next steps.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards to identify areas of success and concern.
