Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools is seeking an Academic Acceleration and School Improvement Supervisor to support turnaround efforts across Literacy, Numeracy, and RTI initiatives. This role partners with the School Leader to implement the School Improvement Plan and build instructional capacity.

The position focuses on data-driven planning, differentiated coaching, and continuous improvement to accelerate scholar achievement and strengthen instructional systems within Tennessee K‑12 campuses.

Qualifications

• Tennessee Teaching and/or Administrator License required.
• Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience with demonstrated Level 4-5 effectiveness.
• Minimum of three (3) years of instructional coaching or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the School Leader's strategic partner in planning, implementing, and monitoring the School Improvement Plan.
• Lead the implementation of literacy, numeracy, and RTI acceleration initiatives.
• Provide coaching to teachers, Deans of Instruction, and Instructional Coaches.
• Support MTSS/RTI frameworks to ensure equitable access to interventions.
• Conduct observations, data reviews, and feedback to drive instructional improvement.
• Build leadership capacity of instructional staff through coaching and collaboration.
