ONLINE PROGRAM ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST Grade 12
VSC UP – PAT Bargaining Unit Exempt

BASIC FUNCTION

Online Program Enrollment Specialists primarily recruit, evaluate, admit, and enroll qualified applicants to Vermont State University’s online programs.

Characteristic Duties & Responsibilities
  • Disseminate informational materials to prospective students through various communication channels.
  • Conduct outreach, respond to inquiries, and input contact information into CRM, following communication plans.
  • Review applications and transcripts, evaluate transfer credits, interview students, and provide advisement.
  • Manage student populations, develop relationships with schools, and attend recruitment events.
  • Assist in planning and evaluating online outreach events and participate in travel recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate with campus partners and ensure a smooth applicant-to-student process.
  • Stay updated on university programs, policies, and procedures.
Supervision Received

General supervision from the Associate Director of Admissions/Team Lead.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in student personnel services or related field, plus 1-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of admissions operations; VSC experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, public speaking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse populations and use data for decision-making.
Location

Remote or any VTSU location.
