Opportunities For Learning (OFL) is seeking energetic educators to deliver data-driven instruction in a remote-friendly setting with 10% in-person events in the San Gabriel Valley area.

Eligible candidates hold a BA/BS and a CA Preliminary or Clear single-subject credential with English Language Authorization (ELA). The position offers a competitive bi-weekly pay range and comprehensive benefits for full‑time certificated staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our educational program to ensure data-driven, results-based instruction for students in the implementation of the Common Core Standards.
• Teach for mastery of the Common Core Standards and be knowledgeable in single-subject content areas and lesson plans and a differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
• Use assessments and data to influence instruction for student success and keep grade, attendance, and retention records.
• Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners.
• Participate in various community groups or functions, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops, and assist with state-mandated student testing.
• Meet with students and parents to discuss student progress and problems.

Pay Range:

$2,884.62 - $4,230.77 - Bi-Weekly – Depending on Experience

Candidate Location Requirements:

Must reside in _ Southern California _ within 150 miles driving distance of an OFY/OFL school site. Candidates from other states will not be considered.

Location:

Remote + 10% in person requirement for events, PDs, etc. located in the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles, and Pasadena areas

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

• Teach for mastery of the Common Core Standards and be knowledgeable in single-subject content areas and lesson plans and a differentiated curriculum to ensure student success.
• Use assessments and data to influence instruction for student success and keep grade, attendance, and retention records.
• Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners.
• Participate in various community groups or functions, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops, and assist with state‑mandated student testing.
