Job summary

Opportunities For Learning (OFL) is hiring educators who are outgoing, energetic, authentic, motivating, and inspiring. OFL is a nonprofit public charter network serving grades 7-12 with a blended learning model and CSI funds guidance.

Pay range is $29.70 - $36.57 hourly, based on experience; schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, 35 hours/week for the 26/27 school year. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time staff, including wellness hours, holiday pay, medical, vision, and dental

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required.
• CA 30-Day Substitute Teaching Credential or equivalent.
• Experience with high school students preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students for a specific charter or region.
• Administer and grade tests.
• Tutor students who need help as requested by the teacher of record.
• Support all state testing by calling, proctoring, and helping.
• Assist with locating, preparing, and passing out curriculum materials.
• Help audit and correct student files when requested.
• Enter student’s work into the student information system.
• Help with other activities within the center that support the direct instruction of students.

Pay Range: $29.70 - $36.57 - Hourly – Depending on Experience. Job is: Certificated. This position is for the 26/27 school year only, as it is based on the school receiving CSI funds that are not guaranteed past the 26/27 school year. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, 35 hours/week.

You’ll Need The Following Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Credential or clear single subject credentials or CA Preliminary or clear single subject credential
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite
