Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a team-oriented individual to pick and gather products for customers' online orders at our Alaska store. You will assemble orders with attention to freshness, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup, while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include handling orders from the Order Selector, ensuring item quality and substitutions comply with guidelines, and maintaining organized staging areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Experience in production oriented or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• Process coupons and payment; deliver and load orders to cars for pickup.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage return visits.
• Receive customer orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Select items for online orders and ensure substitutions follow guidelines.
• Scan and bag orders; communicate substitutions or exceptions at pickup.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and learn new processes.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet productivity standards.
