Job summary

Sports Basement is seeking a Fulfillment Staffer to optimize operations for both in-store and online experiences in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will pick, sort, prep, and pack products safely to deliver WOW customer service and work with Lead and Management to meet daily departmental goals.

You will learn SAP, Sale Saver, and Merchandising tools and apply them to navigate the sales floor, locate items, and ensure orders ship within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or industry experience is required.
• Self-starter and ability to prioritize daily workload.
• Recent experience as a Web Order Fulfillment staffer.
• Positive attitude and ability to create a fun vibe for customers and staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Problem-solving and adaptability with changing duties.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the lead/manager to meet daily operations in the assigned department.
• Learn and apply SAP, Sale Saver, Merchandising, and Back of House support through training.
• Pick merchandise, fulfill, pack, ship, and prepare in-store pick-up orders in priority order.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and process incoming/returns orders.
• Ensure orders ship within 24 hours and maintain quality in packing and timing.
• Communicate with stakeholders via email, Shopify, SAP, and in-person/phone/radio.
• Troubleshoot Shopify and Sales Saver issues and coordinate with stores and teams.
• Follow up on all open orders within 24 hours.
• Assist team with merchandising and support other zones as needed.
• Remain flexible as duties may vary by store needs.
