Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Woburn, MA is seeking an In-Store Shopper to prepare and fulfill customer orders for delivery or pickup. You’ll work on the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams, shop throughout the store, and adapt to peak hours, including Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and holiday seasons.

The role requires a flexible schedule and strong customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork. Prior retail experience is not required, and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
• Support company programs and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
• Maintain operational standards including safety and store security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
