Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an In-Store Shopper to prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You’ll work with the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams, shop across our store for produce, meat, dairy, wine and more, and support customers with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays, early mornings, evenings and holidays. Training is provided, and safety and quality standards are a priority.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with urgency using handheld devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
