Job summary

University of Denver is seeking adjunct instructors to teach graduate courses in the MLIS@Denver online program for the 2026-2027 academic year. Courses vary and may include 3 or 4 credits per course.

Applicants will facilitate live Zoom sessions, monitor student work on the 2DU platform, and provide timely feedback and grades. The position requires a Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program and at least two years of relevant professional

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in relevant content area (e.g., Library & Information Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program).
• Two years of professional experience in a library, archive, museum, or other information services setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate live weekly class meetings via Zoom (75 or 90 minutes depending on course credits).
• Provide feedback on asynchronous work via the 2DU platform and meet with students as needed.
• Respond to student emails within 48 business hours and provide timely grades/feedback.
• Participate in program/department meetings and in course lead/director interactions.
