Job summary

The University of Denver's Morgridge College of Education is seeking adjunct instructors to teach a range of graduate courses in the School Counseling@Denver online program for the 2026-2027 academic year. Courses may vary; assignments include live Zoom sessions and online feedback through the Digital Campus.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Counseling or School Counseling, have prior teaching experience, and for preference a PhD from a CACREP-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or a related field required.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is required.
• Experience as a school counselor and/or counseling children/adolescents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly 100-minute live class meetings via Zoom.
• Monitor and provide feedback on asynchronous work through the Digital Campus platform.
• Meet with students as needed to support their success.
• Provide assignment feedback and timely grades.
• Participate in program outcomes and remediation activities as needed.
• Attend meetings with the Course Lead as required.
