Job summary

The Morgridge College of Education at The University of Denver is seeking adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in Teaching and Learning Sciences, Curriculum and Instruction. Courses may vary and will be scheduled as openings arise.

Faculty will collaborate with course leads, create Canvas containers, and meet with students as needed, ensuring timely feedback and communication throughout the term.

Qualifications

• Masters or terminal degree (depending on the course).
• Teaching experience in K12 setting OR higher education.
• Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with course lead to adapt and deliver course.
• Create and maintain course Canvas container.
• Meet with students as needed.
• Respond to student communication in timely manner.
• Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate.
• Grade in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student related issue arises.
