Job summary

The Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver seeks adjunct instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year to teach in the MLIS online program. Courses may vary and postings cover multiple openings.

Responsibilities include leading weekly Zoom classes and supporting online students. Required is a Master's in Library & Information Science (ALA-accredited) and at least two years of relevant professional experience; graduate-level online teaching is preferred.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program.
Two years of professional experience in a library, archive, museum, or other information services setting.
Teaching experience at the graduate level in the online environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate live, 75-minute class meetings via Zoom once a week.
Regularly monitor and provide feedback on student asynchronous work via the 2DU platform.
Meet with students as needed to support their success.
Provide assignment feedback and grades to students in a timely manner.
Respond to emails from students and program leadership within 48 business hours.
Participate in program outcome and student concern/disciplinary activities as needed.
Participate in meetings with the Course Lead and/or Program Director as needed.
