Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach graduate-level courses in the online MHA program. Instructors will deliver synchronous and/or asynchronous content, assess students, and align courses with learning outcomes and the program mission.

The MHA Online program is CAHME-accredited, offering small classes and visibility into healthcare leadership practice. Ideal candidates have teaching experience in graduate programs and comfort with online LMS tools.

Qualifications

• PhD or terminal degree in Healthcare Admin/Management or related field.
• Evidence of teaching in Healthcare Admin in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more MHA courses per academic year (2–3 courses typical).
• Design and deliver lectures, discussions, assignments, and feedback.
• Maintain virtual office hours and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor student engagement and performance; refer to support when needed.
• Ensure content aligns with student learning outcomes and program goals.
• Participate in online pedagogy training and accreditation practices.
