Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Evidence of successful online/accelerated teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI or advanced digital tools into teaching
- Knowledge of health information systems, data analytics tools, AI apps in healthcare
Responsibilities
- Serve as instructor for BS-AHIA courses (2-3 per year)
- Deliver high-quality online instruction with AI integration
- Model ethical and responsible use of AI in teaching
- Maintain virtual office hours and respond to student inquiries
- Monitor student engagement and performance in accelerated format
- Collaborate with division director to align content with outcomes
- Participate in faculty orientation for online pedagogy and AI teaching
- Mentor students in health intelligence projects and capstones
