The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and more than three years of related experience, with strong knowledge of online instructional design and accessibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of instructional design in online learning and standards.
• Experience developing online courses and training faculty.
• Familiarity with ADA/Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Ability to create multimedia and webpages using modern web tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop online courses and multimedia based on current design standards.
• Develop aesthetic presentations for online courses.
• Train and assist faculty in the use of the learning management system.
• Assist students in the use of the learning management system.
• Update and manage relevant portions of the FVSU website.
• Develop online training materials to assist with faculty development.
• Assist in policy and procedure development.
• Research software to enhance the online learning environment.
• Research pedagogical techniques and trends in online education.
