Qualifications

• Commitment to GEO Academies' mission and goals.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with blended/online learning and urban education; 3 years in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Classroom Teacher to implement classroom procedures.
• Support established rules and protocol to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Motivate and assist students toward academic success in online learning and tutoring.
• Create a positive student culture around online learning and small group tutoring.
• Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students.
• Interpret and utilize data to support student progress.
• Provide targeted individual assistance and small group tutoring.
• Assist with developing individual learning plans for each student.
• Maintain communication with students and their support networks regarding progress.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers and administrators.
