Job summary

Accelschools is looking for enthusiastic teachers to foster a nurturing online classroom dedicated to student learning and social-emotional development. You will be responsible for delivering live lessons, assessing student progress, and creating engaging lesson plans.

Preferred qualifications include a current teaching license and experience in teaching. Suitable candidates must be comfortable with virtual instruction and ready for occasional in-person meetings for state testing.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license inappropriate content area.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas.
• Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback daily.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.

Skills

Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards

High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook

High quality written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in a multi-cultural setting

Education
