Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an Ohio-resident HS Math Teacher to deliver online coursework and monitor student progress in a virtual classroom. The role may require occasional travel for state testing and school functions, with a typical 40+ hour work week from a home-based office.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, six months of student teaching experience, and Ohio licensure. A dedicated candidate will work closely with learning coaches and families to support ODLS students’ goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six months of student teaching experience.
• Meet Ohio licensing requirements for a secondary math teacher.
• Must reside in Ohio and hold Ohio Secondary Math Teaching Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online high school math content and monitor progress via LMS.
• Collaborate with students, learning coaches and parents in a virtual setting.
• Proctor state exams and travel for testing as needed.
• Maintain an accurate grade book and report progress to ODLS administrators.
