Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking certified teachers across all subject areas to deliver personalized instruction to students disengaged from traditional schooling. In this role, you will support students in achieving their high school diploma through innovative teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching certification for grades 6–12 or 9–12 in Math, English/ELA, Social Studies, Special Education, or Science.
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Experience working in non-traditional or at-risk youth settings.

Responsibilities

• Support new student enrollment through recruitment and engagement.
• Assist with developing Personalized Learning Plans for students.
• Plan and deliver instruction in individual and small-group settings.
• Monitor attendance and academic progress to ensure engagement.
