Proximity Learning Inc. seeks a Part-time Health Science Teacher for a virtual classroom. The role requires availability during the instructional day, with no after-school or weekend classes.

The teacher will implement curriculum aligned with State Health Science Standards, differentiate instruction, and foster a positive online learning environment. A Bachelor's degree and US teaching license are required, with openness to additional out-of-state certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Teaching license issued by a US state Department of Education.
• Certifications in relevant subject area(s).
• Willing to obtain additional out-of-state certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum aligned with State Health Science Standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Create and maintain an engaging virtual learning environment.
• Develop and implement Health Science lessons for instruction.
• Analyze student progress, maintain grading and lesson planning, provide timely feedback.
• Participate in professional development, PLCs, and department meetings.
• Maintain professional on-screen appearance and dress code.
• Arrive early to class and keep camera/mic on during live sessions.
