Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a High School CRE Technology and Design Teacher to deliver online instruction for Dogwood Virtual School. This full-time, home-based role requires NC teaching certification and the ability to work 40+ hours weekly, with standard virtual classroom duties and parent communication.

The teacher will use the K12 LMS to monitor progress, tailor instruction to students’ needs, and help families navigate the online learning model towards post-secondary success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Experience with online/virtual teaching environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Personalizes learning for all students and differentiates instruction.
• Maintains grade book and monitors student progress.
• Communicates with families and learning coaches in a timely manner.
• Delivers instruction using online tools and LMS platforms.
