Job summary

Kroger in Portland, OR is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and gather products for customers' on-line orders, with emphasis on freshness and quality.

You will assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to customers' cars at pickup, while providing friendly service and adhering to safety standards.

The role supports the e-commerce team in substitutions, pricing discrepancies, and maintaining clean staging areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders with freshness and quality.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders, following bagging standards and POS procedures.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for easy shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow policies to determine substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
