Job Description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars during pick-up. Provide excellent customer service that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Select and gather products for online orders, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process payments, and deliver/load orders into customers' cars.
• Scan and bag orders following standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations regarding shopping experience.
• Follow all safety, legal, and company guidelines.
• Store products in appropriate temperature zones.
• Read and follow notes for orders.
• Ensure quality and freshness of items.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone.
• Ensure order accuracy and load orders into cars.
• Provide positive customer service experiences.
• Process orders through POS system.
• Handle substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas.
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new team members.
