Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in a warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier

Essential Job Functions:

• Select and gather products for online orders efficiently, focusing on quality and freshness
• Initiate and complete the order selection process
• Assemble orders, process payments, and load orders into customers' cars
• Scan and bag items following bagging standards
• Communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers at pick-up
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
• Adhere to all food safety laws, regulations, and company policies
• Store products in appropriate temperature zones and ensure order accuracy
• Follow note instructions and ensure item quality
• Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone
• Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' vehicles
• Provide a positive shopping experience that encourages repeat business
• Process orders through the POS system
• Handle substitutions appropriately when items are out of stock
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required
