Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. In this role, the In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection for online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes payments, and delivers orders to customers' cars. The role involves scanning and bagging items per standards, communicating substitutions or issues, and ensuring order accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities include following all safety and legal guidelines, maintaining organization, and ensuring product freshness. The role requires effective communication with customers, proper use of POS systems, and adherence to policies for substitutions and out-of-stock items. The associate must also perform opening and closing procedures, assist in training, and meet productivity standards.
Skills required include the ability to work in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts cooperatively, act with honesty and integrity, and support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as necessary.
