Job summary

The University of Mount Saint Vincent seeks a part-time online graduate education advisor to support online students in the School of Education, develop action plans, and promote retention. • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Knowledge of graduate education, teacher prep, licensure, and online learning.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and retention systems.
• Experience in Higher Education and using student information systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising to online graduate education students.
• Assist with registration, major selection, and course changes.
• Plan and monitor student progress toward retention and graduation.
• Deliver student success workshops on wellness and study skills.
• Refer students to counseling, financial aid, career services, and student life.
• Design academic programs for at-risk students and monitor probation.
