Job summary

FVCC seeks adjunct instructors to teach an online course, Introduction to GPS for Surveyors, in the Surveying AAS program for the spring 2027 semester.

The role requires three years’ experience or equivalent education, and the candidate must be capable of online instruction, with strong ethics, organization, and communication skills. Instruction is conducted through FVCC’s online learning environment and coordinated with the Trades Institute.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in the occupation to be taught or three years of post-secondary education in the career/technical discipline, plus work experience.
• Experience teaching in a secondary, post-secondary or higher education environment.
• Experience using online learning management systems and supporting diverse learners.
