Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks online teachers to deliver rigorous core content through live web conferences and asynchronous courses. The role includes travel for state testing and in-person student events, while instruction remains virtual.

Eligible applicants are Indiana residents with a valid state teaching license and strong communication with families. You will join a supportive, nationwide virtual teaching network emphasizing student growth and cultural responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student need, rooted in research-based instructional practices.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback/grade assignments daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with Principal to create and deliver Progress Reports of Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Integrate 21st-century technology skills into daily classroom practice and team settings.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
