Gateway College Preparatory School in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Special Topics Facilitator (Educational Aide) to monitor students in online courses, manage attendance, and report progress to the Director of Student Services. The role requires collaboration with teachers, proctoring tests, and maintaining detailed progress records for families and administrators.

The position offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, and an hourly wage of $19.06–$24.71.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and Educational Aide Certification required.
• Associate’s Degree or higher or completion of 48 college hours or equivalent.
• Knowledge of state/local assessments and instructional support.
• Experience with children in educational settings and ability to plan activities.
• Technology proficiency required for online course management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students in online courses via district platform.
• Maintain attendance records for state reporting.
• Communicate class expectations and grading procedures to parents and students.
• Grade assignments and assessments per district guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers for subject matter expertise when needed.
• Proctor tests including pre- and post-tests for online courses.
• Assist with enrolling and managing student online course accounts.
• Track and share student progress with the Director of Student Services.
• Submit course completion paperwork and send quarterly progress reports.
• Attend 504/IEP meetings and coordinate with coaches and parents of student-athletes.
