Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Online Course Post Production Coordinator to lead post-production for online courses within Liberal Arts Instructional Technology Services (LAITS). The role focuses on staffing, quality control, and efficient workflow management to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in radio, television or film program productions with a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro and Media Encoder) and related post-production tools.
• Strong knowledge of video editing workflows, QA processes, media management, and draft delivery standards.
• Experience with color correction (DaVinci Resolve), audio finishing (Pro Tools), captions, and media delivery.
• Experience managing multiple projects and budgets/timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate post-production work for online courses, service center clients, and other projects with staffing, quality, timeline, and budget in mind.
• Train, mentor, and support student editors in post-production standards and workflows.
• Manage post-production workflows, resource allocation, editor assignments, and project tracking.
• Maintain media management practices including organization, tagging, and accessibility of assets.
