Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking online K-12 teachers to deliver core content instruction in a flexible virtual setting, with periodic in-person state testing and student events.

Open to Ohio residents, you will teach live lessons, manage LMS courses, monitor student progress, and collaborate with school leaders while supporting diverse learners in a fully online environment. Travel for state testing is required several times per year.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Two years’ experience teaching preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record in core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Complete course setup in the LMS for each course.
• Monitor progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student.
• Collaborate with Principal to prepare Progress Reports of Students.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
