ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an online K-12 teacher of record for OHDELA, delivering live core-content instruction to students in Ohio with flexible, standards-aligned curriculum and 24/7 learning access.

This role requires current Ohio teaching licensure, strong communication, and ability to travel a few times per year for in-person testing and events. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a chance to impact diverse learners across the state.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook).
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the teacher of record for core content areas and grades.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup for each course within the LMS.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback daily.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding growth.
• Collaborate with Principal to create Progress Reports.
• Travel to support face-to-face state testing annually.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
