Qualifications

Master's Degree in English, Writing, or subfield; or related graduate degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in field/subfield; or 5+ years of professional experience in field/subfield.

Responsibilities

Prepare engaging instructional materials and utilize existing CTU course materials.
Teach assigned courses, including labs or practice components, aligned to CTU curricula.
Engage with students to encourage participation and maintain professionalism.
Relate industry experience to CTU's Professional Learning Model and stay aware of trends.
Maintain accessibility and timely responsiveness via CTU communication channels.
Establish weekly office hours for student questions and support.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Document student course activities and progress.
Collaborate with Program Chair/Lead Faculty and CTU teams to support students.
Refer students to advising, tutoring, and career services.
Participate in CTU academic governance and assessment activities.
Complete new faculty certification and ongoing training.
