Job summary

Colorado Technical University (CTU) is seeking adjunct faculty to provide quality instruction and meaningful engagement with students for assigned courses on campus in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities include developing engaging instructional materials, delivering course content, and maintaining professional communication with students and staff.

Required are a Master’s in English or related field and evidence of professional experience; the role includes weekly office hours and collaboration

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in English, Writing, or subfield; or out of field graduate degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in field/subfield; or out of field graduate degree with 3+ years' documented professional experience in field/subfield.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engaging instructional materials aligned with CTU curricula and outcomes.
• Provide instruction in assigned courses including laboratory or work components.
• Engage with students to encourage participation and learning with professionalism.
• Relate professional/industry experience to CTU's Professional Learning Model and industry trends.
