Responsibilities

• Updating a syllabus and Canvas course site.
• Preparing thoroughly for each instructional week.
• Instructing and guiding students in an efficient and effective manner.
• Maintaining accurate records of student work and attendance.
• Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Grading and returning student work within one week of submission.
• Counseling students as needed on performance and progress.
• Using the Canvas learning management system for all course work.
• Remaining up-to-date on technology and methods of teaching with technology.
• Staying informed about changes and innovations in your field.
• Adhering to GFU academic policies.
• Communicating effectively and courteously with others in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
• By actions, words, and lifestyle, functioning as a Christian role model to students.
• Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
• Other duties as assigned.
