The opportunity

Online Adjunct Faculty - Graduate Organizational Leadership

Southern New Hampshire University is looking for online adjunct faculty within our Graduate Organizational Leadership program for Global Campus to teach courses such as OL630 Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, OL635 Consulting, and OL665 Leading/Managing Not-For-Profit Orgs. You will engage students in an asynchronous and inclusive learning environment by providing guidance and resources in a pre-developed online course. You will support students through instruction, feedback, and experiential, application-based learning that helps them achieve their goals. You will report to the faculty dean team. This is a remote position. #LI-Remote

What you'll do:

• Prioritize Student Engagement - Respond within set timeframes, reach out to students needing support, recognize holistic needs, connect students with resources, and foster participation and collaboration.
• Share Expertise and Resources - Stay current in your field, share your experience, recommend supplementary materials, and explain complex topics accessibly.
• Offer Feedback & Assessment - Evaluate student work, provide individualized feedback promptly, and promote mastery of course outcomes.
• Facilitate Discussions - Encourage active participation, foster an inclusive environment, and promote open dialogue and diverse perspectives.

What we're looking for:

• Doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Management, Organizational Leadership, Non-Profit Management (PhD/DBA in Business Administration with a focus in one of these areas accepted)
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a business owner, small business manager, consultant, or in management within non-profit organizations.

Compensation

The standard compensation is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course and $2,500 per 10-week graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
