OneStream Systems Lead: Finance Transformation & Analytics

Job description

We are partnered with an organization seeking a highly collaborative and business-focused OneStream Systems Manager to lead the ongoing administration, enhancement, and strategic evolution of their OneStream platform. This role will serve as the bridge between Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders, ensuring the platform supports enterprise planning, reporting, consolidation, and broader finance transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will combine strong functional OneStream expertise with stakeholder management, solution design, and leadership capabilities. This individual will partner closely with Finance and operational leaders to understand business needs, prioritize enhancements, and drive scalable solutions that improve financial processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee enhancements, issue resolution, and optimization initiatives across consolidation, planning, reporting, and analytics
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and overall platform performance
• Build strong relationships with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and operational business leaders
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable OneStream solutions
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, process reviews, and roadmap discussions
• Drive alignment between business priorities and technology capabilities
• Lead functional design discussions and support implementation of new planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automation, and reporting efficiency
• Support enterprise finance transformation initiatives involving ERP, BI, and EPM ecosystems
• Collaborate with technical teams, implementation partners, and external vendors as needed
• Support development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting packages, and management reporting
• Partner with FP&A and Finance teams to improve forecasting and driver-based planning processes
• Ensure business users are leveraging the platform effectively through training and enablement
• Manage project timelines, enhancement backlogs, and system priorities
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and communicate status updates to leadership
• Mentor junior analysts or administrators where applicable
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with OneStream in an administrator, functional lead, systems manager, or consulting capacity
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, FP&A, close processes, and management reporting
• Experience partnering directly with Finance and business stakeholders
• Ability to translate functional business requirements into system solutions
• Experience supporting or leading OneStream implementations and enhancements
• Knowledge of finance transformation initiatives across ERP, EPM, and BI environments
• Strong communication, relationship management, and project coordination skills
