Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking an Enterprise Functional Lead - OneStream / PPBE to join our team supporting a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The ideal candidate will work within a cross‑functional Kearney‑led team implementing an enterprise OneStream‑based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

The role requires on-site presence 2–3 days per week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC, and an active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant financial systems/financial transformation experience.
• Federal financial management or PPBE experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing OneStream or comparable EPM technology.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional system design.
• Strong facilitation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise functional design across five Navy BSOs.
• Translate PPBE requirements into OneStream workflows, forms, rules, dimensions, reporting, and specs.
• Govern BSO‑specific configuration and establish common enterprise requirements.
• Facilitate functional design and solution sessions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with OneStream architects and developers to reflect approved requirements.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to design and testing artifacts.
• Review prototypes and configured capabilities; support testing and deployment readiness.
• Promote reusable enterprise configuration and minimize unnecessary customization.
