Job summary

Varsity Spirit is seeking a part-time seasonal team member in Ocean Township, NJ to support merchandise and awards operations on-site. You will help stock, restock, and prepare road cases for touring locations, with hours 9am–5pm ET, Monday to Friday.

The role includes answering calls and emails from clients and coordinating with production departments, while maintaining organization and adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Creative problem-solving for last-minute event needs.
• Ability to lift and move boxes or awards materials as needed.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving department needs.
• Previous experience in retail, inventory management, merchandising, or warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with merchandise and awards operations, ensuring timely preparation, organization, and distribution of products. Meet restock deadlines.
• Prepare and assist with restock trucks between OneBeat warehouse locations, meeting all weekly restock deadlines.
• Assist with answering phone calls and emails for outside clients.
• Adapt to and support the evolving priorities of the department.

Monday through Friday, between 9am – 5pm (Eastern time)

Part Time, Seasonal team members will work 2 days out of the week, Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Pay Rate

$18/hour

Supports merchandise and awards operations by assisting with inventory preparation, restocking and coordination with merchandise and awards production departments. This position is responsible for stocking merchandise and awards; meeting weekly restock deadlines and preparing road cases for 15 touring locations.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-50 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist. Finger and hand dexterity and ability to read text on a screen. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
