Teachers use a provided curriculum to guide weekly planning and create engaging activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development. • Include Bible stories, Christian songs, and prayer in the daily routine

  • Assist children with meals, diapering, rest time, and other daily routines
  • Communicate with families about their child’s day and development

  • Must be able to work in an active early childhood environment, including standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, sitting on the floor, and getting up and down frequently.
  • Must be comfortable assisting children with diapering, meals, rest time, and other personal-care routines.
  • Must demonstrate patience, warmth, and an understanding of the developmental needs of young children.
  • Must be dependable and able to report to work consistently and on time.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally with families, co-workers, and Directors.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and share classroom responsibilities with a co-teacher.
  • Must be willing to follow center policies, classroom procedures, and licensing requirements.
