Qualifications

• Teaching certificate preferred; substitute certification required.

Responsibilities

• Accept direction from classroom teacher.
• Assist with additional responsibilities and assignments as needed by the teacher or principal.
• Assist in the development of learning packets and other instructional aids.
• Assist teacher with setting up demonstrations, copying instructional materials and checking progress in class assignments.
• Assist the teacher in routine activities such as drills, reinforcement, grading objective tests and papers, developing verbal and listening skills, and guiding and motivating students.
