Qualifications

• Two years of college or an associate degree preferred.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics as appropriate.
• Basic understanding of the educational process and how knowledge is applied.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual support to an assigned student throughout the school day under teacher direction.
• Accompany and support the student in classrooms, transitions, lunch, PE, arrival and dismissal.
• Assist the student in participating in educational activities and classroom routines.
• Support student safety and participation throughout the school day.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow medical protocols under appropriate supervision.
