Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly is seeking a One-to-One Observer for the 1st shift. This on-site role provides constant supervision of a patient, ensures a safe, calm environment, and supports the healthcare team and patient's family as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and successful completion of an observer course or equivalent. Hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $21.33, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Observer training or course completion mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of the assigned patient, ensuring a safe environment and calm interaction.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient status to the RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of the healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
