Job summary

Virtua Health in Burlington is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Observer for a full-time night shift. This role provides continuous one-to-one observation to a patient, helps maintain a safe environment, and supports the healthcare team with professional communication.

Responsibilities include restraint care when needed, promptly communicating changes in patient status to the RN, assisting in orientation of staff, and performing other duties as assigned. On-site position with 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Summary

The purpose of the One to One Observer is to provide personal constant observation of a patient. This position will also Communicate with and support healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). This position will also maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
