Job summary

Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center seeks a dedicated paraprofessional to support classroom teachers in direct instruction, behavior management and student supervision. This position works under a board-approved contract and reports to licensed staff.

Under the direction of a licensed teacher, you will follow schedules, maintain confidentiality, and help create a safe, respectful learning environment. Eligibility includes high school diploma or GED and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Meet NCLB paraprofessional requirements.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of students and protect facilities.
• Follow teacher instructions and assist with schedules.
• Promote positive behavior and confidentiality.
• Support instructional strategies and adapt materials as directed.
